Gregory Peck Signed Letter About Rowing to Jim Murray

Gregory Peck Signed Letter About Rowing to Jim Murray

Pulitzer Prize winner Jim Murray (1919-1998) , whose poetic prose graced the L.A. Times from 1961 until his death in 1998, has been dubbed the best sports writer in history by several of his colleagues, friends and admirers. When Murray won the Pulitzer Prize for commentary in 1990, he became only the fourth sports columnist to receive the honor. Murray's circle of friends reached beyond the jock set to the highest rungs of the acting and political circle, as the favorite columnist of sports-crazed VIPs who were entranced by his cut-to-the-chase style. Offered here is a letter to Murray from legendary actor Gregory Peck discussing rowing. The letter is from 1991 and in NM-MT condition. It has an amazing signature which grades 9 out of 10. The letter is accompanied with its original envelope.
