On one side of the ring are Werle's name and the American League logo, while the opposite side features a logo that reads: "1995 WORLD SERIES JACOBS FIELD" and "100-44", which commemorated their club being the first in American League history ever to win 100 games in a season that had fewer than 154 games. Werle was a six-year big-league pitcher with the Pirates, Cardinals and Red Sox.
