This jersey is from 1950 used by Bill Wright and sent to the Minors the following year as you can see by the 1951 American League 50th Anniversary Patch.
Gorgeous road gray worn by this former number one starter for Ted Lyon's ChiSox. Stunning chenille "Chicago" across the front and the all-important 1951 American League 50th Anniversary patch on the sleeve (original). You'll love the thin numbers (#29) on the verso. Tagged in the tail "Wilson [size] 44" and signed in the collar "Bill Wight" in mint blue sharpie. Great wear and condition. Ex-Barry Halper Collection.
