In support of American singers Tommy Roe and Chris Montez, who had both recently had chart hits with "Sheila" and "Call Me" respectively, the Beatles second nationwide UK tour began on March 9, only six days after the final Shapiro show. The Beatles added "Misery", a song written for Helen Shapiro, to their set list. The morning of this gig found the group in London for a live broadcast of the BBC's "Saturday Club". Ex.
