Dating from the late 1920's-30's, "The Champion Box" features outside images of Babe Ruth, Red Grange, Gene Tunney, Bill Tilden, Bobby Jones, Olympic Gold Medal swimmer Gertrude Ederle, Hall of Fame golf champion Glenna Gollett, and tennis star Helen Wills, who won 31 major singles titles, including Wimbledon - 8 times! An old wooden ruler and colored crayons will be found inside the 10 1/2" x 4 1/4" box. Perhaps best of all is the card that comes with it, a 1935 Goudey Four-in-One with Babe Ruth as a Boston Brave, with teammates Maranville, Brandt, and McManus. This card is in Good condition, and without tears, soiling, or major creases. The box itself is in VG condition.
