Assorted signed Puerto Rican Winter League contracts that obtained the services of 4 big leaguers -- including, in a delighftul irony, the "Baby Bull", Orlando Cepeda, whose father Perucho "The Bull" Cepeda was the island's most revered player in the '40s and early '50s, yet was kept out of the bigs. Cepeda's Santurce contract dated 11/19/66, a year before his MVP year with the Cardinals. Other contracts: Frank "Hondo" Howard (Caguas Guayama, 10/20/61), Don Baylor (Santurce, 10/20/71), and Harry "Suitcase" Simpson (San Juan, 2/9/49).
