Description
Exceptional cardboard advertising piece is literally a legend in our hobby. Cardboard sign stands an engaging 54” tall and is a diecut of our naval and baseball hero Ted Williams. This is a rare variation we have never seen with a circular advertising sign that reads, “Take a Tip from Ted Williams Play Wilson Baseball Equipment.” Usually it is seen without this advertising, the only Wilson designation being the brand name on his glove. He is wearing a home Red Sox uniform and sports an easel readying him to stand in your home. It is beautifully framed but the easel is there on the verso. Some staining at the top circle o/w EX. Colors are magnificent and there is only a handful of the other version that exists today. This one is again, the only one we have seen.
