Intended for his nephew, Grove wrote on the offered ball with the same precision he used to win 300 games (sig. rates a 9/10). Despite a few patches of staining, forcing a grade of VG-EX, the sphere displays nicely, with none of the aforementioned soiling affecting the signature. The accompanying Hall of Fame postcards rate NRMT and feature bold (9-10/10) signatures, with the black and white example bearing the nifty inscription "To sis Mary" on the reverse.
