Lot 54: Mitch Ryder 1967 Concert Poster
ITEM DESCRIPTION
Classic rock poster from an April 28, 1967 Mitch Ryder gig at the JFK Coliseum in Manchester, New Hampshire is notable to rock students as a solo appearance by Ryder, not one with the Detroit Wheels with whom he'd cut the high-octane, horn-based hits "Devil with a Blue Dress On," "C.C. Ryder" and "Jenny Jenny." A disillusioned Ryder dumped them early in '67, left Detroit and began recording his blue-eyed soul in Memphis. Show is billed "Mitch Ryder and Revue" in red over a head shot of him and the date below. 14 x 22" poster is EX with slight browning of edges. Good golly, Miss Molly!
