No, King Kong didn't lose his mitt, but this fantastic leather glove chair would surely fit the big ape's hand. Large enough to fit two snugly in the palm, the chair is made of buttery soft light brown leather and is as broken in and "game worn" as Derek Jeter's glove, with a slight darkening in the "pocket" and scratches all around. Talk about realistic, there are laces along the lower front edge and even a sliver of webbing between thumb and forefinger. Has some repairs but this doesn't crimp the chair's high-impact desirability as a collector's must-have -- a similar one was in a recent Halper auction. We don't believe there's a better chair from which to watch the home team in the confines of a den or basement? Just watch out for the middle finger.
