Hillerich & Bradsby U1 was wielded by Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman, Don Hoak. Bat shows light but definite use, with no finish. Another anomaly in baseball, Hoak died unusually of a heart attack while chasing his brother-in-law’s stolen car.
