Lot 1799: Ben Crenshaw 1995 Masters Champion Photo Album
This lavish photo album by Stuart Kern marks the highlight of Ben Crenshaw’s Hall of Fame golf career. Made of the world’s finest Bavarian polished saddle leather, lined with French silk moiré, this is identical to the one presented to Ben Crenshaw at the time that he won his second Masters Tournament in 1995. This exact album is presented each year to the Masters Champion and is not available to anyone else, and more importantly never offered for sale. 18 full color and black & white photos (mostly color) fill the elegantly crafted photo inserts. These brass-cornered inserts display photos from Crenshaw’s 1984 Masters victory as well as from his 1995 victory. These beautiful photos are in Mint condition and will be preserved as such for a long time due to the design of the inserts. Gaze upon the gorgeous scenery of Augusta National’s 365 acres of sprawling oak, pine and greens. Also includes close-ups of Ben Crenshaw during the tournament, as well as a few off the course shots thrown in for good measure. Of note is the luxurious cover, branded with a design of the Augusta National clubhouse and the words, “Masters Tournament, Augusta National Golf Club - MASTERS CHAMPION” with Crenshaw’s facsimile signature burned into lower left corner with “1984 & 1995” denoting his two years as Masters Champion. Offered in pristine condition in its protective felt cloth sleeve. This unique album is a symbol of tradition, history and prestige - never offered for public sale. It is in this regard truly priceless. Measures 15x13” when closed. Photos are 8x10”. Comes with an LOA from Stuart Kern.
