1 Al Capone Baseball Wire Photo The photo shows Capone speaking with Gabby Hartnett of the Cubs. After the photo ran in the Chicago papers Hartnett was called into Landis office and got into hot water over this (connection of organized crime/gambling and baseball). This very famous picture led to a ban on players being allowed to talk to fans in the stands.

91 Original Vintage Baseball Photos (27) From NY Times These photographs are from the family of Joe DiMaggio and were to be used for display in Joe’s famous San Francisco restaurant. They come in their original yellow envelope with mailing label. They were sent by New York Times Pulitzer Prize winning photographer, Ernie Sisto to Tom DiMaggio, at the restaurant. These are all Hall of Fame inductees all with original pencil hand written references on the back as to whom they are.

150 Heisman Winner Bruce Smith’s University of Minnesota Gophers Football Jersey This is the East Team Jersey and was from the East/West Game, 1942.
183 Unbelievable James Braddock Collection With Handwritten Letters To clarify, along with several letters from Mae to Jim there are two letters (ALS’ from Jim to Mae. One is from September 7, 1936 is signed “Jim” and mentions his upcoming fight (Max Schmeling). The other is a 2-pager from August 29, 1936 and also signed “Jim.” It mentions his recuperating in Florida (for the Schmeling fight). Both are in their original envelopes with both addressed to Mrs. “J.J. Braddock (hence his signatures) and one of them with a second “”J.J. Braddock” signature as well. There is a "Memo" book with his handwriting and a signature. There is also a Stillman’s Gym membership card signed by him. All are in ink.
The is also a great James J. Braddock Assoction membership card picturing him (unsigned).
184 The Harriet Hodge Collection (Jack Dempsey) Additional items included in this collection are A horse race program dedicated to Mrs. Hodge and signed by Casey Stengel and Mrs. Stengel. The program was signed shortly the Yankees became world champions in 1956. A ticket stub from Don Larson's perfect world series game. Two photographs of triple crown winner Citation signed by Bobby Jones the horse's trainer. Both of these photos are in off-grade condition they have toning and missing some missing stock to the left portion of the photo. Both photos have some light creases and wear to the corners, however because most of the damage is on the edges once cropped or framed most of the wear will not be evident.

SGC 40 VG 3 #'s 360 and 60. Card # 27 did not meet the minimum size requirements and card # 44 was miscut.
