Here's an opportunity for an unbelievable musical score! The Big Band era spanned from about the mid-1920s to the mid-40s, and the jazz orchestra and dance band sound was all the rage. This lot is a collection of vintage scrapbook pages of stars of the era. Business cards, newspaper clippings, photographs, personal correspondence and even holiday cards are among the items you'd find in this treasure trove, with scores of signatures from the likes of Cab Calloway, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Ozzie Nelson and so many, many more. The scrapbook pages themselves are yellowing and severely brittle with age, however many of the items affixed are in remarkably good condition. Too much to list, must be seen to be appreciated.
