This game-worn jersey from his short time with the Yankees in the early '60s features a restored NY emblem on the front of the jersey, which includes Gardner's name sewn into the collar and Rawlings label and "61 SET 2" on the inner tail. There also appears to have been a number change (12). The pants are from Frank Crosetti and includes a Rawlings waist label, Crosetti's name, year and size sewn in, as well as the year "62" written in magic marker. The entire uniform shows good use
