This all-original New York Yankees home jersey was worn by the immortal Whitey Ford during an early 1980s Old Timers function at Yankee Stadium. It is very possible that he wore this for more than one occasion. The collar tag show it as a Wilson, size 46, with a one-inch square patch with the number 16 sewn on the bottom left front. The design is the traditional Yankee pinstripes, with interlocking navy blue NY logo on the left breast and Ford's "16" on the back. Signed on the front and back in 6/10 black Sharpie. Shows very nice use, some discoloration inside the collar but overall this item is in very good condition.
