This fabulous baseball is an official American League model with Will Harridge as president. Signed at a function in the 1940s, this impressive artifact is packed with 34 signatures representing the greats of the game. The incredible lineup reads like an All-Star roll call with Babe Ruth leading the way on a side panel. Then we have Cy Young, Jimmie Foxx, Ed Walsh, Al Simmons, Ty Cobb, George Sisler, Charlie Gehringer, Waite Hoyt, Chief Bender, Mickey Cochrane, Harry Hooper, Stan Coveleski, Ray Schalk, Earle Combs, Lefty Gomez and Tris Speaker. And these are just the Hall of Famers! A few other notables are Wally Pipp, Wilcy Moore, Everett Scott, Bob Meusel, and Joe Judge. The signatures range from 5 to 7 out of 10 and the baseball is in VG to EX condition with no use but slight, consistent toning and a very light coat of shellac. It should be noted, this baseball was a work in progress and took several years to accumulate all of these great autographs.
