A vintage piece of memorabilia from the late 1930s, this metal sign advertises the brewery owned by Jacob Ruppert whose name is also synonymous with the ownership of the New York Yankees. The 15.5x11.5" oval sign shows two dawn fists hoisting mugs of beer with the wording: "JACOB RUPPERT BEER-ALE - MELLOW WITH AGE." There are a few scratches evident but the item is in EX condition overall. Ruppert inherited the brewery from his father and also served four consecutive terms in congress.
