This black satin jacket is the type that was worn by the players and coaches on those cool New York nights. It is also satin lined with cloth collar and cuffs. "Giants" is embroidered on the left sleeve in orange script. The right pocket contains a tag from Tim McAuliffe Athletic Equipment in Boston, Mass, while the other has a tag identifying it as a size 42. This item is in great condition. There is no player identification on the jacket but it comes with a letter from the family of Don Muller stating that family history has it that this jacket once belonged to Leo Durocher, who managed the Giants from 1948 thru 1955.
