These are the original fight worn gloves used by heavyweight champion "Iron" Mike Tyson to defeat champion James "Bonecrusher" Smith in their title unification fight on March 7, 1987. The gloves are red leather with a manufacturer's label on each wrist for Everlast, still has partial white laces. The gloves are signed inside by Tyson manager, "James Jacobs" and "Smith 3/7/87." These are the actual gloves worn by Tyson in his first title unification fight. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Tyson's early assistant manager Steve Lott and a video of the fight showing Tyson wearing the gloves.
