The scene along 5th Avenue in New York City is captured in this photograph, where New Yorkers celebrated Charles Lindbergh, the man who piloted the "Spirit of St. Louis" across the Atlantic Ocean for the first non-stop flight between New York and Paris. "Lindy" became an instant American hero for his achievement, and New York honored him with a ticker-tape parade in June of 1927. EX-MT measuring 9x7".
