This is an original, on-site poster for the famous heavyweight battle between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier in New York at Madison Square Garden on March 8, 1971. Both fighters entered the ring undefeated and claiming the heavyweight title. Frazier knocked Ali down in the 15th round en route to winning a unanimous decision. The poster is cardboard with bold color and sharp images. No tack holes. Tape marks on reverse from mounting. Not torn. One mild crease and light staining. A very nice example of a scarce and highly sought-after on-site poster. 22" x 28."
