Picture this: a very nice collection of original sports photographs, most of which are wire photos with captions and some even oversized. The majority (75%) is baseball from the 1950s and early '60s but also includes some nice basketball and boxing shots. The collection really needs to be seen to be appreciated. Just a few names that are here amongst the hundreds of pix: Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio, Marilyn Monroe, Wilt Chamberlain, Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, Robin Roberts, Hank Aaron, Eddie Mathews, Roberto Clemente, Bill Mazeroski (1960 World Series-winning home run photo), Duke Snider and many, many more. This is just a sampling. There are plenty of action shots too. Overall, the lot is in VG condition.
