This uniform was worn by Globetrotter forward "Wee" Willie Gardner during his stint in the 1950s. While it is a full set, including uniform top, shorts and stirrup socks, the uniform top has #39 while the shorts sport a number 44 stitched on the leg. The top is white with a Wilson tag on the bottom front, and a "39 Gardner" tag stitched on the bottom inside. The front has "ORIGINAL HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS" in stitched-on felt letters while the back has a globe and red and blue stars surrounding the number. The shorts are satin Wilsons, with red and white vertical stripes and the number "44" stitched on the left front thigh. A tag marked "44" and "36 reg plus 1" in script is stitched into the band. The socks are blue stirrups with broad red and white stripes and gold trim. Items show nice wear and all are in VG condition.
