Utility infielder Daryl Spencer played 12 seasons in the majors, including his first eight with the Giants, which included the transition from New York to San Francisco. Spencer's name appears in black script on a collar tag, while a Tim McAuliffe tag adorns the tail, with stitched black lettering below it: "44 3 in 56." The jersey shows good use, including two small repairs on the back. Spencer was issued #20 following the trade of Negro League star Monte Irvin, who had worn the same number with New York.
