This never-before-seen photograph shows Ruth surrounded by men and women in what looks like a basement speakeasy. The picture was taken in Detroit. As the story goes, this photo was taken during the prohibition era. The police were paid off to stay away from the establishment until 12:00 midnight. After 12:00, the patrons would move to the party to the basement so they could continue on drinking until the wee hours of the morning. The condition is G/VG with one stain.
