Lot 358: 2004 World Series Game Four Full Ticket
ITEM DESCRIPTION
The centerpiece of this three-piece lot is a very rare full ticket from the fourth (and final) game of the 2004 World Series, the 100-year anniversary of the championship, which pitted the St. Louis Cardinals against the Boston Red Sox, with Boston breaking the curse of the Bambino and winning its first title in 86 years. The condition of this ticket is beyond EX-MT as these tickets were torn at the gates. This is not a stub, but a full, untorn ticket! Also included are full tickets to the ALCS Games 3 and 4 in New York (Yanks vs. Boston). In this series, the Red Sox became the first team in MLB history to lose the first three games and win the next four to win a seven-game series. Both tickets are EX. Rounding out this lot is a signed David Ortiz photo.
