This 1969 Topps Baseball set appears to have been put together almost exclusively from “vending”. Although the set seems to have remained untouched by human hands, other than the ones that put them into sheets, it was not hand-picked for centering. The key cards grade as follows (the majority of all downgrading is based on centering unless otherwise noted): 50 Clemente (EX), 95 Bench (EX-MT), 100 Aaron (EX), 120 Rose (EX-MT), 190 Mays (EX-MT), 260 Jackson (NM), 500 Mantle (EX-MT), and 533 Ryan (EX). As an added bonus there are 16 “White Letter” variations (all about EX, mostly due to corner wear) included in this set. The overall grade of this set is EX to EX-MT due to centering.
