This large heavyweight blue banner with JIMMIE FOXX in foot-high red and white block lettering and "1936-1942" at the righthand edge flew outside Fenway Park in Boston along with other Hall of Famers' banners during the early 1990s. The banner is 14 feet long and 33" from top to bottom; we are told banners such as this one were hung straight down lengthwise rather than across the railing as a bunting-style banner would be. Great stadium artifact for any fan of Hall of Fame first baseman Jimmie Foxx.
