This beige, nice quality 4 x 7 1/2" envelope was canceled at 9am on June 12th, 1939 in Cooperstown, NY. It was signed by Babe Ruth, and it appears that Ruth also wrote the address on the envelope in fountain pen. In a darker blue fountain pen, The Bambino has written, "Babe Ruth, June 12th, 1939".
