Chinese communist leader, Mao Tse Tung poses at the peace talks held in Chungking, China. Silver print, 12 x 10 1/2 inches. Typed caption stuck on the verso along with various stamps and pencil notations. Several tears at the edges which have been repaired with tape on the verso. 1945; used in Life Magazine (page 80) on January 23, 1950.
