This lot includes the front cover of a program from the New York Baseball Writers 39th Annual "Eating and Oratorical Contest" held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City on January 28, 1962. The two-sided cover, which measures 6 1/2 x 10" and has printed information on both sides, is autographed in blue ballpoint by baseball icons Mickey Mantle, Jackie Robinson, Roger Maris and Bob Feller. Robinson and Feller were both members of the Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 1962, while Mantle and Maris had battled for the single-season home run record during the 1961season, with Maris emerging the winner after hitting 61 homers that year. Truly a noteworthy piece with all four of these players' signatures.
