Description

Author William Burroughs, an ex-dope addict, relaxing on his bed at the Beat Hotel in Paris, France. Silver print, 13 1/2 x 9 inches. Various stamps and pencil notations on the verso. Several light creases and one inch tear at the bottom edge. 1959; used in various Time-Life publications including Life Magazine (page 124) on November 2, 1959.
