This 31 1/2" Olympic torch was used in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, known as the Centennial Olympics. This torch says "100, Atlanta 1996" on the top golden band. On the thicker golden band toward the bottom, every past Olympics location has been engraved, beginning with "Athens 1896" and ending with "Atlanta 1996."
