This 6 x 9" giant postcard has been hand written by Ernie Davis, the first African American to ever win a Heisman Trophy. All in script in blue ballpoint pen, this was written during Davis' college football years with Syracuse University. The message reads, "Happenings 'Mick'; How's everything in Elmira. Sorry about those tickets. I'll set you straight some other time. O.K!! See you soon, 'Later', 'Ernie' ". It was written to be mailed to Mr. William Jones of Mickey's Barber Shop in Elmira NY.
