Future Hall of Fame catcher Mike Piazza was a true hero to Mets fans during his tenure in New York. This lot contains a Piazza game-used New York Mets gray button-front road jersey from the 1998 season. Piazza's name and number 31 are sewn on the back in blue tackle twill with an orange/black tackle twill backing; the number 31 also appears on the front left in the same tackle twill. An AIS label is sewn inside the back tail above a size 50 hang tag. There is a Mets New York skyline patch on the left sleeve. The jersey has had no alterations and shows game use.
