THIS SWEATER HAS NUMBEROUS REPAIRS IN THE ELBOW AREA.
Jack Carlson just missed out on joining his brothers Steve and Jeff as the third "Hanson" from the cult classic "Slapshot". The Whalers made the playoffs and cousin Dave Hanson had to fill in. Jack's scrappy style and hefty PIM numbers would have been just right for the part. This jersey was worn between 1976-77 and 1977-78 WHA seasons. It is a heavy Dureen knit by Cosby with everything sewn on. This size 50 home jersey features the harpoon crest and the whales on the shoulders. Back letters are stitched directly onto the shirt. Fight strap cut out. Lighter wear.
