From big bucks to blue pucks, the World Hockey Association was all about trying something new to attract attention. This red, white and blue wool referee sweater is a head-turner. The chenille crest of the WHA appears on the left breast with the number "13" on a large blue oval on the back. Worn during the first few seasons by referees only as linesmen wore traditional black and white. Nameplate removed. A rare example, in excellent condition.
