Terry was a tough cookie when it came to autograph requests. This scarce single signed Northland Pro goal stick is stamped "Olympic Sporting Goods Detroit Mich" and "Sawchuk" on the shaft. Taped in vintage bulldog on the blade and paddle with a knob covered in white over black. An extremely rare bold black signature lower on the shaft reads "To Champ, Terry Sawchuk". From the early 1990's Champ Collection hoard of pristine 1960's game used sticks. The stick's taping differs slightly from Terry's typical pattern, with a completely taped blade and heel. The open area at the heel shows evidence of tape wrap residue, showing proof the stick was used by Sawchuk and later retaped and used by back-up. Number "30" on shaft in marker, Terry's number during his second stint with the Wings and again in Los Angeles and New York. The stick and signature are in amazing condition.
