Incredibly desirable team photograph of Josh Gibson with the Cuban League Champions. One of the most famous Cuban teams of all because they sported a devastating lineup of Josh Gibson, Dan Bankhead, Cocaina Garcia, Sandy Amoros, and Lazaro Salazar. They are shown here raising the 1948 Championship flag in this first generation vintage image. Cuban wire photo with paper caption on verso with raised cartouche of Hernandez of Santa Clara. Couple of minor defects but first generation with perfect contrast and o/w EX.
