This piece, an 18 x 22" framed set of advertisements from 1929 for "Shockproof" Benrus watches, features the "Sultan of Swat" himself, Babe Ruth, and carries his endorsement. The first, mounted left, is a die-cast point of sale counter display, featuring Ruth in a red hue. The other is an advertisement featured in Liberty Magazine on May 4th, 1929, with the same image of Ruth in green, and features long copy regarding the Babe and his experiences with his watch. Both pieces are classic-looking vintage ads, and are in very nice condition.
