Offered here is a very scarce official, on site poster for the heavyweight match between future champion George Foreman and Gregorio Peralta on May 10, 1971 at the Coliseum Arena in Oakland. Foreman stopped Peralta in the 10th round to secure his 23rd consecutive victory and the Pan American Heavyweight Title. Important fighters on the undercard included Jimmy Ellis, Ernie Terrell and George Chuvalo. The poster is cardboard measuring 17 ½” x 23”. Both fighters are pictured with bold images. There are small tack holes in the corners, minor soiling and one small stain. The only example of this poster to be offered at public auction to our knowledge.
