In 1955, the Brooklyn Dodgers took down the New York Yankees in one of the most intense seven-game series in baseball lore. This set is from Game 7 of that remarkable Series, and features two items. The first is a table-tent ad for Schaefer Beer featuring a shot of the Dodgers team with the Schaefer logo at the top and “WORLD CHAMPION BROOKLYN DODGERS” at the bottom. On the reverse is an ad for Schaefer Beer, reading “For real enjoyment -- real beer!” Included in the set is a player identification companion chart for the team photo. The second item is the Game 7 program, with a red, white and blue cover, featuring yellow lettering. The cover has been written on and the program has been scored, but overall it’s in VG/EX condition.
