Two years prior to his death in 1948, the Great Bambino himself wrote this Chase National Bank check to cash in the amount of fifty dollars. Framed to 17x20, this check is dated January 16th, 1946, and has been made out to cash. Signature rates an 8.5 in black ink. The check itself bares three wallet folds, and has a CNB authentication perforated into its surface. An impressive piece from the Babe's post-career personal life.
