Dozens of Western Union telegrams are compiled here, each sent to the Mick on the occasion of his 2,000th game in pinstripes. Most are from lesser known well-wishers, but others are from the biggest names in (and out of) the game. Lengthy telegram from Robert F. Kennedy, Frank Sinatra, Jackie Gleason, Casey Stengel, Yogi Berra, Texas Governor John Connally, Willie Mays, Joe Garagiola, Del Webb and more. All make for fascinating reading, and all are in NRMT condition.
