The famed Detroit double play duo of second baseman Lou Whitaker and shortstop Alan Trammell was recognized with this symbolic official major league second base from the Tigers’ Camden Yards, with affixed plaque dated October 1, 1995, and signed by Whitaker in black sharpie, “Last Game Together,” as it was Sweet Lou’s last major league appearance. Trammell retired the following year. Includes LOA from Whitaker.
