Three-page handwritten and signed letter talks of how much the Physical Education-enthusiast liked the French people, how they had suffered, and sends along in the Paris-postmarked envelope a “Litany for use during war” (with handwritten notes). Pages have slight tears where creases from folds have worn, otherwise has held up very well.
