Exceptionally rare thirty-two page publication recounts the Championship season of 1909, when Wagner defeated Cobb in one of the most exciting Series ever. All the stars, including Honus himself, are pictured inside, with amazing full-page images of Forbes Field from a quarter-mile away, with Model T’s and horse-drawn wagons in the foreground. There are great cartoony caricatures of the players with a brief poem for each. Overall VG with some spine wear and some of the center pages loose from the staples, but present.
