One page typed document on Boston American League letterhead dated Sept 12, 1918. Reads “Received of the Boston American League Baseball Club Four Hundred & Forty Six 60/100 Dollars in full settlement of my salary and all other demands for the season of 1918. And I hereby acknowledge and accept this as a notice of my reservation by the Boston American League Base Ball Cub for the season of 1919.” Signed in mint black ink by Babe Ruth. A few horizontal fold lines, none of which effect the signature of Ruth.
