Resplendent copper plated trophy is the actual team trophy presented to the Homestead Grays for winning the 1941 Negro National League Championship. It is engraved, “Negro National League Champions 1941 Homestead Grays.” Wonderful art deco design with brown Bakelite handles and base. Player stands art top. Trophy itself is by Dodge, Inc. Some pitting to lid, o/w excellent condition. 26” tall. The only Negro League Team trophy that we know to have survived.
